The Ladima Foundation announces the launch of its new exclusive and interactive social media platform for A-List members. The A-List started as a database of women professionals across Africa, a place where women working across various disciplines could find each other for work related opportunities. Over time the list has grown to over 2,000 women members from across the continent and has now been upgraded to also include a fully interactive social media space/network called the A- List Community – think LinkedIn for African women in film, TV and content.
This is now a space for all WOMEN who are registered as members on the A-List to create their own professional profiles and start engaging. Ladima encourages you to share information and opportunities, promote yourself and your work, and find and connect with other women working in the same space as you.
The community has a variety of functions including polls, blogs, dialogues and groups. Community members can post images, update their status, follow their friends and so much more! We invite you to experiment within the platform and find your fellow A-Listers. Create a profile, share and connect with thousands of industry professionals from across Africa.
THE A-LIST COMMUNITY: Designed by and for African Women in Film
To connect using the A-List Community, members should head over to the A-List, log in and click the COMMUNITY icon on their dashboard. From there you can create a profile, share posts, photos, videos, opportunities and more. You can still search for talent across countries and skill sets as well as create groups of interest, blogs and online dialogues. This safe, professional and exclusive social space will become the home of all the latest news and film / content related opportunities shared by The Ladima Foundation and the over 2,000 A-List members.
