Cotonou International Women’s Film Festival (FIFF Cotonou) – a Ladima Foundation partner festival – organized by the Ecranbénin association, has announced a call for submissions for its second edition. The second edition of the festival will take place from September 14 to 18, 2021 in Cotonou, Benin.
The Festival aims to promote films made by African women, on subjects of their choice. The International Women’s Film Festival has two sections:
the “official competition” section and the “out of competition” section.
Submissions for the 2021 competition is now open, accepting short films (fiction, essay, animation and documentary) from African women directors. Deadline to submit is 31 May 2021.
