The Festival aims to promote films made by women on subjects of their choice in order to better understand the evolution of the situation of women directors and their cinema in each country represented.
The 4th edition of the festival will take place from February 3 to 7, 2026 in Cotonou.
The FIFF Cotonou offers two sections:
- The “official competition” section
- The “out of competition” section
The selection committee reserves the right to choose the category in which a film is programmed.
