Ladima Foundation CEO to speak at ISNTD Festival 2021

The International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD) Festival is an annual event that brings together communication, arts, entertainment and science to help further the reach of complex public health messages. This year’s edition will be taking place online on Wednesday 24th March & Thursday 25th March 2021. The festival programme will include a number of panel discussions and an awards segment with numerous award categories including apps, films, photography and gaming etc.

On Wednesday 24 March from 11:30-13:00 UTC, as part of a panel discussion titled ‘New Ways of Visual Storytelling’, Ladima Foundation CEO and co-founder, Lara Utian-Preston will be speaking on the importance of film in changing narratives. Other panelists include John Ferguson (Visual Storyteller and Photographer); Tom Bradley (Photographer & artist and the New Face for Leprosy project); and Prof Diana Lockwood (Emeritus professor of Tropical Medicine, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine & the New Face for Leprosy project).
